I live in East London and my children were studying at University of Cape Town. They stayed in a flat in Cape Town and they took this “street cat” in. Every Holiday they would fly the cat from Cape Town to East London. This went on for about 5 years .Shotgun has more Voyger miles than me. She is now living with me in East London and rules the roost here.
Matewis was a ferral cat that stayed in our yard. With a lot of patience we earned her trust and today she lives in the house with us and is happiest when her food bowl is full of lucky pet
My momma cat was a little stray that was brought to me on a Sunday afternoon in a shooping bag. She had 6 kittens in October and when they were 4 weeks old I found another stray on my pavement about a week older than her litter. She took the kitten under her wings as if it was her own. The black and white kitten is now part of my family as if he born born to her. She loves him unconditionally too. I kept one of her kitties as companion to him. So much to learn from animals…
Kushy was found in a municipal rubbish bin by one of our staff members when she was only two weeks old. We hand reared her and today she is a most amusing member of our family. When she was still a kitten she would travel with us when we transported our horses to the races and would find a shoulder to sit on. She meows “talks” when the telephone rings or a motor car stops in the driveway. Her favorite past time is to sit in the dining room window sill and “growl” at the people passing by in the street.
These two babies had been abandoned and were less than 10 days old. Needles the black boy and Cheshire is the grey girl. They drank from bottles beautifully and now enjoy anything they can get to eat!!

I hope you got the pic, please phone me if it did not attached. Thanks a mil, Louise
Gizmo was destined to become part of our family. Two year ago on the last day of work before our firm closed for a month for Christmas Holidays, we found Gizmo, a two week old baby, abandoned before our building. He was extremely thin and sick with the snuffles. Now, two years later, he is this big ball of fur and the ruler of our household. He brings us endless joy and we consider him our biggest Christmas gift ever.
jerry is the baby of a family of 5 that moved with their human family to the farm. Unfortunatly both their human parents died and they stayed behind with ouma and oupa. They are quite happy and love their new Lucky pet that ouma is giving them.
Marble was rescued from a township and we think that she was fed on junk food as she tries very hard to steal chips and chocolate and we think that she was exposed to drugs as it took her a longer time than usual for her to settle down. She is now part of my dear 12 cat family and is very marblelous. :)
I am a F1 Hybrid Sphinx boy and share the house with 2 other hairless Sphinx and 1 siamese cats. Seeing that I am the baby of the lot and the only boy, I get away with everything.
